    Can Meross smart 3 way switch be used in a 4 way circuit system?

    Yes. But you have to install Meross 3 way switch in certain electrical box of a 4 way circuit system. A 4 way circuit system contains two 3 way switches and a 4 way switch. You can replace either of the 3 way switches with it as picture below.
